Deadly Pheasant Tail is a modern evolution of the classic pheasant tail nymph, designed with one clear purpose: to trigger takes when fish are selective. Micro ribbing quill is one of our favorite materials, providing a subtle UV reflection that has delivered excellent results for us in recent years.
A true grayling magnet, especially effective in clear water and during periods when fish are holding deep and feeding on nymphs. The fly is best fished close to the bottom, but don’t hesitate to experiment with different sizes and colors. As always, only your imagination sets the limits.
