Straggle String is a premium material for fly tiers who want to create lively thoraxes, hackles, and bodies. It is part of one of the market’s leading micro fritz ranges, featuring an extra-thin twisted core, excellent color variation, and short, dense fibers with a UV effect.
The short-fiber structure gives flies a natural, pulsing appearance and is famously used by Hans van Klinken as a modern alternative to peacock herl in his classic Klinkhåmer patterns.
