Loon Lochsa is a versatile gel floatant that provides maximum buoyancy without affecting the fly’s appearance or movement. It works exceptionally well on everything from feathers and hackle to hair and yarn, and is one of the few gel floatants that can be used on CDC without clumping the fibers.
The silicone-based formula is temperature stable, meaning it won’t melt in heat or harden in cold conditions. It also leaves no oil slick on the water’s surface.
