ST359 BL from the Demmon Competition series brings something new to the jig hook category. Unlike classic jig hooks with a more angular profile, this model features an elegant, rounded circle-hook-like shape. The geometry promotes secure hook penetration and excellent fish retention during the fight.
Developed with competition anglers in mind, the hook is strong enough for large fish while still maintaining optimal balance and efficiency for modern nymphing techniques. The jig eye keeps the fly riding hook-point-up, reducing bottom snags and improving presentation.
The round bend combined with the inward-curved barbless point creates a very reliable hooking mechanism. Once the fish is on, the shape helps maintain constant contact and reduces the risk of losing fish during sudden head shakes.
