Description
Chamois is a classic natural fly-tying material that has been used for dry flies for over 50 years, particularly in Alpine regions. It is now making a comeback in modern fly patterns thanks to its natural appearance and fine texture.
The material is similar to deer body hair, but significantly softer and finer, making it easier to work with while creating a more subtle and natural presentation on the water.
It works exceptionally well in combination with CDC feathers or hackle, helping you create realistic imitations with excellent buoyancy.
