There are certain flies that makes me think – this one is going to catch a lot of fish.
This caddis from Fliesbyemet is exactly one of those.

When do I fish it?
This is a classic go-to when caddis are active – but also a fly I’ll happily tie on when nothing really seems to be happening.
- Fish it high in the surface film – it floats like a cork
- Perfect for streams where you want reliable buoyancy
- Deadly in stillwater – try stripping it across the surface
